Carol Service 17 December

There was an almost full church for our Parish Christmas Carol Service on the afternoon of Sunday 17 December 2023.

My personal thanks to all those who came along to our Christmas Carol service last Sunday, 17th December. It was great to see our church so full with parishioners and some with their children at this special service. I would especially like to thank those people who gave up precious time to make this event possible. A lot of hard work and effort had gone on behind the scenes over the last couple of months – from putting together the service programme and rehearsals beforehand, to decorating and bringing the festive feel to our church to make it look wonderful. Last but not least to everyone who helped prepare and serve the delicious food and refreshments that was enjoyed afterwards. While our Carol Service was first and foremost about our getting together as a parish community to celebrate the birth of our Lord, thanks to your generous support of this and the Christmas Raffle it has also benefitted our church funds raising just over £1,000 to help with the ongoing running costs. Thank you again to everyone.
