Private prayer in church
Following the Government’s announcement on 7 June that places of worship can reopen for private, individual prayer from 15 June, the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales drew up guidance on the safe reopening of churches. See detailed information on the Weekly Newsletter tab.
At Our Lady of the Rosary, we have now completed the necessary Risk Assessment and put measures in place in accordance with the Bishops’ Conference guidance.
Our Lady of the Rosary Church is open for private, individual prayer each Sunday morning from 11 am to 12 noon AND each Tuesday morning from 11 am to 12 noon.
Please observe social distancing and follow the stewards’ guidance on entry to the Church.
To keep our Church open safely for private individual prayer at this time – WE NEED YOU!
At least two stewards/volunteers must be present in the Church throughout the time it is open for individual prayer and the Church needs to be cleaned at the end of each day.
If you want to be part of the team to help keep our Church open for private, individual prayer, please contact the parish office.
