Our Lady of the Rosary Church is open for public Masses. See page Our public worship for details.
As part of our desire to stay faithful to daily patterns of prayer, the Bishops’ Conference encourages us to come together at 6pm every day to pray – pray privately, pray together at home, pray without ceasing. “We are surrounded by people who are going the extra mile during the Covid-19 pandemic to save and protect lives all over the country,” adds Bishop Paul Mason, lead bishop for Healthcare and Mental Health, “and I’d like to invite Catholics across England and Wales to participate in Cardinal Nichols’ call to daily prayer at 6pm by offering thanks and prayers for these workers and their service.” Read more here.
For those unable to attend public Masses during the Coronavirus outbreak, various resources are available online to help you continue to pray at home.
Our Archbishop John Wilson offers Sunday Mass at 10am from St George’s Cathedral in Southwark, which can be viewed here.
Redemptorist Publications offers Mass, celebrated by Fr Denis McBride C.Ss.R. every Sunday here.

A prayer to say when we are unable to attend Mass
O holy angel at my side
Go to the church for me
Kneel in my place at Holy Mass
Where I desire to be
At offertory, in my stead
Take all I am and own
And place it as a sacrifice
Upon the altar throne
At holy consecration bell
Adore with seraph’s love
My Jesus hidden in the Host
Come down from Heaven above
Then pray for those I dearly love
And those who cause me grief
That Jesus’ Blood may cleanse all hearts
and suffering souls relieve
And when the priest Communion takes
Oh, bring my Lord to me
That His sweet Heart may rest on mine
And I His temple be
Pray that this Sacrifice Divine
May mankind’s sins efface
Then bring me Jesus’ blessing home
The pledge of every grace
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Amen
